Saw cutting is a necessity in any metal fabrication shop.  We cut all kinds of tubing, flat bar and solid stock in our semi-automatic cold saw.  Semi-Automatic means the operator does not have to manually cut the material.  Once the saw is set up for cutting speed all the operator does is load and unload the material.  Unless the saw cut parts are getting welded into an assembly the edges, inside and out, will probably need to be deburred.
